Practical Tools and Tips on the Law of attraction

Practical Tools and Tips on the Law of attractionPractical Tools and Tips on the Law of attraction

The Law of attraction, simply put, declares that you attract what you focus on with the most energy. The Law of attraction appears in many of the great religions, philosophies and truth streams of history. Since 2004, books, movies, television programs and segments, newspapers and magazines have explored the Law of attraction. Not everyone agrees about which tools and tips provide the best outcome, but many agree on some of the basic elements.

Resisting Creates Persisting

If you spend your time and energy focusing on what you wish would go away, you only reinforce its presence in your life. As psychiatrist Carl Jung said, "What you resists persists." The negative focus simply draws more of the same thing into your life, instead of releasing it. Focus instead on what you want to fill its place and allow the negative experience or habit to dissolve.

Emotional Attraction

Strong emotions act like a huge electromagnet, drawing the focus of those emotions into your life. Strong emotions include love, desire, hope and appreciation. Strong emotions also include hate, fear, anger and lust. Control your emotions to determine the kind of thing or person you attract. For example, if you fear abuse from a former abuser or that someone else will enter your life and abuse you, the fear draws people with abusive behaviors to you.

Attitude of Gratitude

If you want to draw the best things in life to you, respond with gratitude to what you already have. For example, if you respond to your boss and your job with gratitude, you create the right conditions for you to rise in the company or garner a new job that is better than the one you currently have. The presence of gratitude draws more reasons for you to feel and act grateful.

Power of Speech

According to the Law of attraction, what you speak often and with strong conviction will manifest. Your words reflect what you believe. Examine your words and see what you really believe. If you always complain about not having enough money, for example, then you will never have enough money because you don't believe you can. Instead, speak a positive statement such as, "I am thankful for the financial resources I have. They allow me to pay my bills." With this statement, your focus changes from what you don't have to what you already possess. The positive focus and gratitude you now speak attracts more resources.

Vision Board

Visualize what you want to see in your life. A vision board takes pictures of what you want in your life and gives them a concrete visual representation. For example, if you want your house paid off, create a visual of your deed with "Paid in Full" stamped across it. As you stand in front of the board each day, affirm aloud that what is pictured there will appear in your life. In your mind, see yourself doing the things you would do if this was already true, such as redecorate or remodel with the extra funds you would have at your disposal.
