The other meeting will be focused on nonfiction selections. BiblioBebe (Multilingual Early Childhood Reading) group is open to parents and children, and it is geared toward parents who want to teach their child a second language. Groups are assigned based on language learning desires. For example, a mother who is a native French speaker and wants her child to learn English will work with a mother whose native tongue is English and wants her child to learn French. They then read children's books in the target language, and the other parent is there to assist. The group offers books in a wide variety of languages including English, Spanish, French, Mandarin (dialect of Chinese) and Japanese.
