Often when people talk about the LOA(law of attraction), they refer to choosing your state as -raising your vibration-, referencing the quantum physics principle that -everything is energy-. So theay say that when you raise your vibration, you supposedly elevated your energy to a higher level, which magnetizes you to attract more of what you want. According to some proponents, when we do this, what we want is magically attracted to us by the unseen force.
A favorable state makes you more creative, more inspired, and more likely to be clear about what you want. It also helps you take action and cultivate habits and practices that support realizing your dreams. There are so many favorable emotional states to choose from, and it really boils down to consistently choosing a state conducive to attracting your desired outcomes. This could mean choosing states of gratitude and appreciation, optimism and hope, energy and eagerness, love and compassion, or peace and balance. All support different types of results in your life, and all are desirable at different times and in different ways. It's pretty clear that if you want to draw quality experiences, people and things into your life, it's far more likely to happen when you are in one of these favorable emotional and energetic states.
Choosing a favorable state helps you achieve outcomes in your life the same way that deciding how you will use your car will support the outcomes you want to achieve in a day. Some days, you will be taking a leisurely drive through the park to soak up the scenery and bask in the pleasure of the moment. You don't need to rev your engine to experience what you want to. Some days, you'll use it for practical errands that make your life easier, so you will want the capacity to start and stop repeatedly to make smooth transitions between each destination. There are so many ways that you could use the car - you only need to know what state serves the outcome you are seeking in each instance. The same holds true for your emotional states- you just need to know how to choose your state and how to easily navigate in and out of states that serve the purposes most important to you at the given time.
